Lamborghini’s new special edition Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolore revealed at the 2011 Qatar Motor Show. This special edition will only set tires on the European and Asian-Pacific markets, but as an honorable mention, the American market will be offered the LP 550-2 version of the special edition.
"With the Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolore, Lamborghini demonstrates once again the extreme, uncompromising and unmistakably Italian nature of our brand. The super sports cars from Lamborghini combine volcanic energy with design that is as unique as it is stylish," says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
The Bicolore edition will be distinguished by a refined contrast between the black roof and whatever color is chosen for the rest of the body. Under the hood will be a V10 engine with 560 HP that will sprint the car to a top speed of 201 mph.

The two-tone supercar follows the similar path of the Gallardo SE from 2006 with a high-contrast paint scheme: black covering the roof section, pillars, front air intakes and front spoiler, with special titanium-finish multispoke Skorplus alloys. The rest of the body can be had in yellow, orange, silver, blue or white, while the interior carries the same theme with black leather and contrasting stitching to match the exterior color.
The Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolore – with the 560-horsepower V10 and all-wheel drive – is exclusive to the European and Asia-Pacific markets, and is being unveiled at the Qatar Motor Show as we speak. Lamborghini hasn't neglected the North American market, however, as the Bicolore treatment is being applied here to the LP 550-2 – the rear-wheel-drive, 550-hp drivetrain that was previously exclusive to the purist Balboni edition. Exterior
The edition will be distinguished Bicolor by a combination of two colors, columns, roof, hood and rear spoiler will be painted black Noctis, while the lower area of the body will be available in a choice of five colors: Midas Giallo, Arancio Borealis, Grigio Telesto, and monocerus Bianco Blu Caelum. It is yellow, orange, gray, white and blue for us regular folks. The air vents, front spoiler and rear diffuser will be dressed with a high gloss black finish to complement the color scheme of the exterior of the vehicle. The aggressive appearance of the exterior is continued by Skorpios rims forged aluminum-alloy 15-spoke and ended in a thin titanium gray enamel.
The combination of two contrasting colors within the same Lamborghini continues with the instrument panel, seats, door panels, and other elements inside the cabin finished in “Nero Perseus had” leather combined with precise tailoring. The sewing will be done in the same color used in the exterior, with a choice of yellow, orange, blue and gray.
The frame of the transmission gear and the center console is painted in Nero Noctis, as the upper surface of the vehicle.

Prices
Lamborghini has not disclosed the prices for Bicolor edition yet, but it will certainly cost more than a standard Gallardo LP560-4 at $ 205,000. The Special Edition bicolor is especially designed for the enthusiast who wants a supercar with a unique appearance and striking design. In any case, he or she will have a Lamborghini, which is quite distinct from a highly dynamic nature, maximum driving excitement, and an ability to travel daily.
Competition The list of competitors for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolor Edition includes models like the Aston Martin DBS, Audi R8 V10 and Ferrari 458 Italy. If we had to pick just based on price, then the Audi was the right choice with a starting price of $ 146,000, but the Italy 458 has plenty of advantages that Audi does not.
The Aston Martin DBS is powered by a 6.0L V12 that develops 510 hp, which falls incredibly short of the 560 horses out of the Gallardo. Italia 458 is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine that delivers an impressive 570 HP and the sprint car at a speed of 202 mph. This matches the performance of the special edition Gallardo and has the numbers the same fuel economy 17mpg combined, but one thing to consider is that Lamborghini is carrying a V10, while Ferrari only totes a V8.
If based on the price of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolore Edition-above $ 205,000. Audi R8 V10 into other alternatives ranging from $ 146,000 as its competitors
